Square Trade Survey to analyze the failure rate for Lap top

In 2009 the largest independent service agencies in the USA published a report on the results of an analysis of the failure of a lap top which is taken as a sample of some of the brand. Square Trade took 30.000 lap top is in production by 9 brand to the test with a period of 3 years of use. Each brand was taken 1000 units to be given the opportunity to be tested. A lap top will be projected for 2 years and 3 years of use, and the result is

  1. ASUS is a brand that has credibility with the best in this survey took first place with a 15.6% rate of malfunctions.
  2. The second position is occupied by Toshiba as a brand that has the second lowest rate after ASUS malfunctions, the malfunction rate 15.7%.
  3. The next position followed by SONY with 16.8% rate of malfunctions.
  4. Apple's 17.4% rate of malfunctions.
  5. Dell's 18.3% rate of malfunctions

Acer, Hawlet Pacard, and Gateway notebook is a brand that has a failure rate significantly higher than the average damage. Hawlet Pacard worst place in the survey with 25.6% of products that have the item malfunctions. This is the highest in the survey proentase.
