What's wrong with ROG? - ASUS G53SW-XA1 Republic of Gamers 15.6-Inch Gaming Laptop

From 58 customer reviews 26 people provide positive support and 24 people give a negative impression, something happened with the ROG???...... had issues with the power button???.....Further what is actually happening is a sensor that is supposed to sense the lid closing is too strong (it is magnetic) it can over time while sitting build up a "magnetic charge" and thinks the lid is closed when it is not, by using a magnet you are resetting the switch. Should you have to do this? No, but at the price I dont find it to be an issue (mine has been working fine since the initial swipe of the magnet, ie the power button has been working, and if it stops in the future I know to keep a magnet handy).By Gibbs.
