1. Buttons used with pointing stick are a little soft. Definitely not a big issue.
2. No option for discrete graphics; however, video is still very smooth. 1080p videos off youtube run great.

Pros:
1. Very fast.
2. Lenovo "sleep mode" is superior. Pressing the power button instantly puts the laptop into sleep mode. Pressing it again or opening the cover instantly brings it up again just as it was left. No waiting. Laptop can stay in sleep mode for days on a full charge.
3. Keyboard has a great feel and includes the numeric keypad on 15 inch model.
4. This model comes with 1 4gb dimm. Easy to upgrade to 8gb.
5. 7200rpm hard drive is noticeably faster.

Overall:
This is a great laptop and absolutely the best value for under $700.

While some are complaining about some of the shortcomings that are owned by this Lenovo product, some buyers give revieuws as below;

Just received laptop, opened up box, plugged in battery, turned on, mouse pad doesn't work at all!
Can't finish set up. Can't tell if it works or not. Came from circuit city. Online buyers beware. I didn't know how to select zero stars.

I know other reviews on this are positive, but I'm not optimistic. The day I received my laptop (new, not refurbished), I opened box, charged it and started typing. Then I noticed a problem with the "f" key and the "j" key. The "f" key makes a clicking noise, and gets stuck. The "j" makes same clicking noise. It does not get stuck, but I can see it coming. When I tried to surf the web, I noticed a problem with the trackpad. It freezes whenever a new webpage loads. Called the store (not Amazon), and they will not accept return. They said to deal with Lenovo with warranty claim. Lenovo said to return it to them, and they will evaluate it. Now I'm out of machine for next 10 days. Wish I bought an Apple.
